My interest in photography and the great outdoors started early with my first career in geophysics. It was on one of my travels that I purchased my first film camera. Initially it was just to capture images of the many places I was lucky enough to visit but my imagination was captured early on.
I switched to digital a number of years later. By now my career had changed but my interest in journeying to remote and beautiful locations certainly had not. It was whilst on a trek in the Himalayas that I partnered with the Hindustan Trekking company becoming their principal photographer and established on-location photography workshops in the Himalayan mountains.
I was accredited by the Royal Photographic Society several years ago and have run regular solo exhibitions in the UK and Scotland as well as having images on display in a number of private galleries. I was interviewed by BBC Radio for my latest exhibition, Images of India. I have also sold a number of corporate commissions.
I will be running a series of on-location photography tours and workshops in the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand in 2015.
My latest exhibition, Reflections, is at Gallery 150 at 10, Livery Street. Regent Court Shopping Centre, Leamington Spa from February 10th to February 22nd. I hope you can make it.
